Full Length Trips
6- 10 Days
To see it all takes 6-10 days on a motor trip depending on your take out point. You can depart the trip at Whitmore Wash by helicopter, Diamond Creek by bus or go all the way out to Lake Mead covering the last part of the Canyon by jet boat. Go all the way if you can! The more time you spend the better the trip!

Upper Half Trips
3 - 4 Days
Upper Half Trips last 3 - 4 days, cover the first 90 miles of the Canyon and end with a 10 mile hike out of the Canyon from the river to the South Rim Village.

Lower Half Trips
5 - 6 Days
Lower Half Trips last 5 - 6 days, cover 136 - 190 miles again depending on take out point. These trips begin with a 10 mile hike into the Canyon from South Rim Village.

Introductory Section 3-4 Day Trips
3-4 Days
There are 3 & 4 day motor trips in the Western Grand Canyon (the "Introductory Section") that run the last 90 miles of the Canyon. Some trips incorporate a stay at the Bar 10 Ranch while others just offer two nights on the river. These trips are only operated as Las Vegas and return packages.

One Day Trips are available in the last 35 miles of the canyon. They are run seven days a week mid March through October.
